SciBarCamp is an "unconference": the participants collectively decide on the program for Saturday during the opening reception on Friday night. This gives everyone a chance to propose a session (a talk, discussion, or demonstration) but it also means that we can't yet give you the full program any earlier than late in the evening of May 8th. However, we can give you the schedule of empty time slots, locations, and start and end times. This tentative schedule will be updated as more information becomes available:
Final schedule is attached as pdf, and in text below (pdf is prettier).
Friday, May 8th:
Opening reception (Arbor Room at Hart House)
7:00PM to 9:30 PM
This is an integral part of the event!
Meet other participants, propose sessions, vote for and comment on proposed talks and discussions. Whatever you want to get out of SciBarCamp is determined by you, starting this evening. If you would like to have a discussion about science in art, or about journalism, or about recent developments in your field, then *this* is the moment to bring that up and get it on the schedule.
